“I came for the shower. I stayed for the hope. I achieved with the help.”
Drop in services directly connect people to housing, employment, training, support, and opportunity. South Hayward Parish (SHP) has been providing drop in services to individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness for four years and has dozens of success stories like the one above. Through the generosity of the Jim Forsyth Foundation, we can expand our services, bringing jobs, housing, and hope to even more people. The foundation has offered a Matching Grant of $3,000 to help pay for rent in a larger facility. We have until the end of February to make this match and are asking for your help. Every dollar you donate will be matched and more people will be able to reach self-sufficiency.
To donate, please send a check to South Hayward Parish, 27287 Patrick Avenue, Hayward, CA 94544, with The Joe White Movement in the memo line. Or visit click the Donate button to the right of your screen. You will be asked “Is this donation for a specific purpose?” Please write in the Joe White Movement there.
