The event will take place at the Outreach Center located at 27287 Patrick Avenue in Hayward. SHP staff will present program reports, and the membership will elect officers for the coming year. The SHP Board recommended re-election of Daryl Berman (Congregation Shir Ami), President, Leo Wilkinson (New Bridges Presbyterian Church), Vice-president, Terri Owen (Starr King Unitarian Universalist Church), Treasurer, and Tom Spitzer (Congregation Shir Ami), Secretary.
SHP continues to address ongoing problems associated with homeless individuals and families who struggle to find food, shelter, jobs and medical services. Its food pantry supports an ever growing clientele. It runs a winter shelter program for those who lack shelter on cold and rainy winter nights. It provides counseling and case management for Hayward’s otherwise unserved homeless populations.
